Ingredients:
• 1/2 loaf – bread (or leftover bread)
• 1 cup – Curd (some sour)
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 – green chillies, finely chopped
• coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 1 – onion, finely chopped
• oil for deep frying
• 1 – Carrot grated, optional
Method:
- Cut bread into small pieces.
- Mix all the ingredients with curd and prepare as puri batter without adding water.
- Shape this into tikkis or any other shape and deep fry in oil (oil should not be too hot).
- Fry till golden in colour.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
