
Ingredients:
• 500g – plain flour/maida
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – baking powder
• 200g – Butter or margarine
• 200g – shredded cheddar cheese
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• 1/2 cup – sour Curd or yogurt
• oil for frying
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients and chill in a refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Then take out of the refrigerator and leave out to attain room temperature.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into 3-inch strips about 1/4 inch wide.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the strips until golden.
