Ingredients:
• 1 – chocolate cake
• 2-4 tbsp – melted Butter
• 1 bar – dark cooking chocolate
• 1 bar – white chocolate
Method:
- Crumble the cake into a large mixing bowl.
- Add 2 tbsp of melted butter and mix well with a ladle. The mixture should be moist enough to roll into 1.5-inch balls and still hold a round shape.
- Add some more melted butter if the cake crumbs are dry and difficult to make balls with.
- Place the cake balls on wax paper. Cover with a plastic wrap and freeze for 2 hours.
- Break the dark chocolate into small chunks and melt it in a double boiler.
- Allow the melted chocolate to come to room temperature.
- Take the cake balls out of the fridge and dip in the melted chocolate until it is well coated on all sides.
- Place the balls on a tray until the chocolate sets.
- Melt white chocolate and spoon it into a piping bag. Draw lines or any pattern on the cake balls for decoration. Allow to set well.
- Store in an air tight container.
