Ingredients:
• Mint leaves – 1 bunch.
• Coriander leaves -1 bunch.
• Dry Red Chillies – 3.
• Tamarind paste – 1/2 tsp.
• Salt to taste.
• Onion – 1.
• Tomatoes – 1 | Urad Dal – 1/2 tsp| Seasonings:
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp.
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp.
• Curry leaves – 1 sprig.
Method:
- Heat oil in kadai, add 1/2 tsp urad dal. Fry till it turns brown.
- Add chopped onions and red chillies. Fry till golden brown.
- Add mint and coriander saute till they wilt.
- Add tomatoes and fry till it softens.
- Now grind all the fried ingredients with tamarind paste and salt.
- Put the kadai back on heat and add some oil. Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add urad dal and when it turns brown, add curry leaves and fry for a minute.
- Add this seasoning to the chutney.
- Serve with dosas.
