Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Peeled and chopped Doodhi
• 1/2 cup – Channa dal
• 2 – Tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp – Coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – Asafetida
• Coriander leaves to garnish
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cook the dal in the pressure cooker for 10-15
  2. Now add all the other ingredients to it and pressure cook for 8 minutes
  3. Remove from fire and let it stand for 10 minutes
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  5. Serve hot with rotis or chapatis.
