Ingredients:
-Baby potatoes 12-15
-1/2 cup chopped onion
-1 cup tomato purée
-Small piece of ginger
-4-5 garlic cloves
-5-6 cashew nuts soaked in water
-3-4 cloves
-Small cinnamon stick
-4 tbsp hung curd
-1 tsp fennel seeds pd sauf
-1tsp coriander pd
-2 tsp kashmiri chili pd(used for nice colour .. )
-Turmeric pd
-Garam masala
-1 bay leaf
-2 black cardamon
-Salt
Method:
Take small sized Potatoes n peel them. Now make holes with the help of fork n keep in salty water.
Now heat oil in a wok and fry these potatoes on low heat until all of them turn golden brown. Keep aside .. (You can avoid all above processes n just boil potatoes with 1/2 tsp salt n after cooling peel them)
Take onion, ginger , garlic , 3-4 cloves a small piece of cinnamon and soaked cashews and grind to smooth paste…
In a wok heat ghee/oil add 2 black cardamon and one bay leaf.. Now add Kashmiri Chilli Powder , turmeric pd n ground paste.. cook till it leaves oil . Add tomato purée. add 2 tablespoon of beaten curd and mix well. Add all masalas and fried potatoes with little water and cook covered. Lastly add fresh cream(optional) and fennel powder (Saunf) n cook it covered for 2-3 mins.
It is ready. Have it with phulka/nan
