Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – walnuts, crushed
• 1/2 cup – cashews, crushed
• 1.5 cups – biscuits (Marie or glucose), crushed
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• 2 tbsp – cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence
• For decoration: jelly beans
• ice Cream sticks
• oval cutter
• bunny shape cutter
• Colored frosting

Method:

  1. Place sugar, cocoa and butter in a non-stick pan.
  2. Cook while stirring, till well dissolved.
  3. Take off heat, mix in all other ingredients.
  4. Allow to cool till it can be handled.
  5. Empty into a large greased plate, lightly pat even.
  6. Using the shaped cutters, cut out the shapes
  7. Place cut-outs on sheets of waxed paper
  8. Insert an ice cream stick 2 inches into the bottom of each cut-out
  9. Decorate the pop-ups with jelly beans, chocolate chips, coloured frosting as desired
  10. Cool well till firmed
  11. Store in air-tight container. It can be placed in Easter Basket.
