Ingredients:

• 5 – eggs
• For gram flour batter:
• 8 tbsp – gram flour
• 1.5 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Sufficient water to make the batter
• Oil for deep frying
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For gram flour batter: Mix the gram flour, red chilli powder, 3 tbsp oil and salt
  2. Add sufficient water and make a slightly thick batter
  3. Boil the eggs and cool
  4. Remove the shell and cut into halves. Keep aside.
  5. Heat oil in a kadai.
  6. Dip each half of the egg in the gram flour batter.
  7. Deep fry on a medium flame till golden.
  8. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
