
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – soaked Chickpeas
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1/2 cup – minced Onions
• 2 tbsp – minced Parsley (use Coriander leaves if Parsley not available)
• chillies as spicy as you desire
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – coriander
• 2 – minced Garlic
• Cloves
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tsp – black pepper powder
• 3 tbsp – maida/all purpose flour
Method:
- Grind all the ingredients to a coarse form without water.
- Heat oil in a kadai for frying.
- Once the oil gets heated enough for frying, make patties out of the coarse mixture and fry them just like vadas.
- Serve falafel as an appetiser or as a evening snack.
