Ingredients:
• 3 tbsp – Tamarind paste
• 3 level tsp – Sugar
• 200 ml – Water
• 200 ml – Mixed chopped fruit
• 5 ml (1 level tsp) – Chilli powder
• 5 ml – Roasted Cumin seeds powder
• 1/2 level tsp – Black salt (sanchal)
• Salt
Method:
- Mix the tamarind paste, sugar and water and put on the boil.
- Boil for 3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
- Add the fruit, chilli powder, cumin seed powder and black salt.
- Season with salt.
- Makes about 300 ml.
