Ingredients:

• 5 – green gram Idli
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• A few sprigs – Curry leaves
• 1 – Onion (big and chopped)
• 2 – Green chillies (slit opened)
• 1/2 tsp – grated Ginger
• A pinch of asafetida
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil as required

Method:

  1. Grind the leftover idlis until it turns into a coarse powder.
  2. Heat enough oil, add mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal, curry leaves, asafoetida powder and fry.
  3. Add onions, green chillies and curry leaves and saute until the onions turn translucent.
  4. Add the ground idlis, turmeric powder and salt and cook on sim for a few minutes.
