Ingredients:
• 5 – green gram Idli
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• A few sprigs – Curry leaves
• 1 – Onion (big and chopped)
• 2 – Green chillies (slit opened)
• 1/2 tsp – grated Ginger
• A pinch of asafetida
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil as required
Method:
- Grind the leftover idlis until it turns into a coarse powder.
- Heat enough oil, add mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal, curry leaves, asafoetida powder and fry.
- Add onions, green chillies and curry leaves and saute until the onions turn translucent.
- Add the ground idlis, turmeric powder and salt and cook on sim for a few minutes.
