Ingredients:
• large Prawns – ½ kg, peeled and cleaned
• Garlic 8 flakes, crushed
• oil – 3 tbsp
• For Masala:
• Tamarind – 2 cm ball
• Turmeric – ½ tsp
• cumin – 5 gm
• mustard – 5 gm
• roasted Peanuts – 25 gm
• green chilies 4
• salt to taste
Method:
- Grind all the ingredients for masala together.
- Heat oil; fry garlic till dark brown.
- Add masala, fry till fragrant.
- Add prawns, fry till they curl.
- Add 2 cups of water and salt, cook till done.
- This curry consistency is like thin pouring cream.
