Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Wheat Flour
• 1.5 to 2 cups – Sugar (or to taste)
• 3/4 cup – Ghee
• 2 cups – Water
• A few – Cashewnuts
• Cardamom powder
• A pinch – Lemon yellow food colour

Method:

  1. Add 2 cups of boiling hot water to sugar and keep aside.
  2. Fry the cashewnuts in ghee a little and then add the wheat flour and fry till golden brown.
  3. When the wheat flour is done, gradually add the sugary hot water and mix well.
  4. Then add cardamom powder and the colour.
  5. Keep stirring till it leaves the sides.
  6. Grease a plate with a little ghee and pour this mixture onto the plate.
  7. Cut into pieces when it cools.
