
Ingredients:
• 1 – whole Chicken
• 2 – sticks tej
• 1 tsp – Hing
• Salt
• 2.5 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera powder
• 15 – Almonds
• 4 inch piece Ginger
• 3 – black Cardamom
• 3 cups -curds
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1and1/2 tsp – Dhania powder
• 5 tbsps – Ghee
• 5 – Potatoes
Method:
- Wash chicken and cut into pieces. Grind ginger.
- Heat ghee season, with tej, cardamom and asafoetida.
- Add chicken, ground ginger, curds, salt and cover and simmer for 10 mins.
- Add chilli, cumin and coriander powder.
- Cover and cook chicken.
- The ingredients will stick to the bottom, so stir every few mins.
- Cook till all water evaporates and ghee oozes out.
- Sprinkle garam masala.
- Meanwhile, steam potatoes and cut into two.
- Then fry.
- Now add chicken to it.
- Blanch almonds, slice and fry, and sprinkle on chicken.
- Pour 1 cup of hot water.
- Bring to a boil.
