Ingredients:

• 1 – whole Chicken
• 2 – sticks tej
• 1 tsp – Hing
• Salt
• 2.5 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera powder
• 15 – Almonds
• 4 inch piece Ginger
• 3 – black Cardamom
• 3 cups -curds
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1and1/2 tsp – Dhania powder
• 5 tbsps – Ghee
• 5 – Potatoes

Method:

  1. Wash chicken and cut into pieces. Grind ginger.
  2. Heat ghee season, with tej, cardamom and asafoetida.
  3. Add chicken, ground ginger, curds, salt and cover and simmer for 10 mins.
  4. Add chilli, cumin and coriander powder.
  5. Cover and cook chicken.
  6. The ingredients will stick to the bottom, so stir every few mins.
  7. Cook till all water evaporates and ghee oozes out.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala.
  9. Meanwhile, steam potatoes and cut into two.
  10. Then fry.
  11. Now add chicken to it.
  12. Blanch almonds, slice and fry, and sprinkle on chicken.
  13. Pour 1 cup of hot water.
  14. Bring to a boil.
