Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – marrow bones (beef or mutton)
• 4- 6 cups – water
• Salt
• Pepper
• 2- Carrots
• 6- 8- string beans
• 1- medium size Onion
• 1 -large Tomato chopped

Method:

  1. Wash and cut the carrots, beans, onion, tomato and any other vegetables of your choice into suitable sizes.
  2. Place the bones and vegetables in a large vessel or pot.
  3. Add sufficient water, salt and pepper and simmer on low heat for a least one hour or till the soup is quite thick and gives out a nice aroma.
  4. Serve hot.
