
Ingredients:
• 60 g – Tamarind
• 100 g – Jaggery
• 1 tbsp – Jeera
• 1.5 tsp – black salt
• 1.5 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1.5 tsp – Ginger (saunth) powder
• 1. 5 cup – water
• 1 Dates
Method:
- Soak tamarind in water and pulp it.
- Add this to the water and jaggery and boil on a double boiler.
- After the first boil, add roasted and ground jeera, black salt,
- Chilli powder and ginger powder.
- Mix and let boil.
- Add the date pieces and mix well.
- Boil till is thickens.
- Use this chutney to make dahi papdi and other chaats.
