Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• 175 g – gram flour, finely sieved
• 200 ml – condensed Milk
• 2 pinches – Cardamom powder
• Extra 2 tsp – Ghee
• 12 – Cashew nut splits to garnish

Method:

  1. Grease a steel plate with 1 tsp ghee and keep aside.
  2. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp ghee on medium heat and saute gram flour and stir continuously for 25 minutes.
  3. Add condensed milk and stir on a low heat for 5 minutes with the gram flour.
  4. It should leave from the sides of the pan and form a soft ball.
  5. Finally sprinkle cardamom powder.
  6. Transfer the burfi mixture into a greased steel plate and sprinkle remaining 1 tsp ghee over it.
  7. Spread it evenly with a flat spatula.
  8. Allow it to cool and later cut into desired shape and sizes.
  9. Decorate with cashew nut splits or raisins.
