Ingredients:
• Tilapia – 4 boneless and skinless slab
• Mustard – 6 tsp paste, not watery
• Ginger, grated – 2 tsp
• Onion – 1, medium, cut into small pieces
• Gram flour paste with 1 tsp of Turmeric powder and salt – for dipping stuffed fish
• Green chillies – as preferred small pieces
• Salt according to taste
• Oil – 6 tbsp
• Some toothpicks
Method:
- Take the fish slabs. Place them on a cutting board and beat them smoothly.
- Next, mix mustard paste, ginger, onion, salt and chillies.
- Put the paste at one end of fish slab and fold it or roll it.
- Then deep them in gram flour paste and fry them in low flame with a lid half open.
- If fully covered, steam will form and water may splutter out.
- Serve when done.
- Best when eaten with basmati rice. Eat by mixing mustard paste with rice.
- Add 2 tsp of mustard oil in mustard paste if you want it more pungent.
