Ingredients:
• 1 Kg – Chicken
• 6 – Cloves Garlic
• 5cm x 2 inches – Ginger
• 25ml – Yoghurt
• Juice of 2 Lemons
• 1 tbsp – sweet paprika
• 2 tbsp – ground coriander
• 1 tbsp – Cumin
• 1/2 tbsp – Turmeric
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 3 – large Cardamoms
• salt to taste
• hand full of chopped Coriander leaves
• 100 g – Butter
Method:
- Wash the chicken pieces and pat them dry.
- Slash the chicken pieces all over with a knife.
- Grind all the ingredients together (without adding water) to make a paste.
- Marinate chicken overnight with this mixture.
- Sprinkle coriander leaves on top, baste with butter and grill.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
