Ingredients:

• 1 cup – thick Poha (washed and drained)
• 2 – ripe and juicy Tomatoes (chopped)
• 1/4 cup – Green peas (frozen)
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tsp – Ginger (grated)
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 2 – Cloves
• 1 – Cinnamon stick
• 2 – Green chillies (slit opened)
• 5 – Curry leaves
• Few Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Salt
• Oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add the bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks, fry them until they turn brown.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes with grated ginger, curry leaves, slit green chillies, frozen green peas, garam masala powder, salt and close the pan with lid.
  4. Keep the flame in simmer, cook them until tomato pieces turns mushy, add immediately the washed poha, toss everything gently and turn off the stove.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  6. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
