Ingredients:
• 1 kg – boiled potatoes.
• 1/2 kg – peas (matar).
• 2 – onions, finely chopped.
• salt.
• 1 tsp – chilli powder.
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric paste.
• 2 tsp – goda.
• 1 cup – bread crumbs powder.
• oil for frying|
Method:
- Mash boiled potatoes and make a dough by adding a little salt. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in pan, add onions and fry till translucent. Add matar, stir, and then add turmeric and chilli powders.
- Add 2 tsp goda masala (kala masala), salt and steam for 10 mins. After bhaji is ready, allow to cool.
- Make a little disc with a ball of potato dough, add some filling, cover it well, then roll in bread crumbs.
- Fry in oil till golden brown. Serve with sauce.
