Ingredients:

• 11 tsp – Milk powder
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 10 tsps – ghee, to fry
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• A few strands of saffron, soaked in a little warm water

Method:

  1. Mix the milk powder with 1 tsp baking powder. Add 3 to 4 tsps of water to it and make a dough. The dough should be tight enough to make a ball.
  2. Now in another vessel, make a sugar syrup – dissolve the sugar in some water, add cardamom powder and saffron, and cook till it turns into a syrup.
  3. Now make small balls with the dough, fry in ghee and immerse in the sugar syrup.
