Ingredients:

• 4 medium sized Pomfrets
• 2.5 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2.5 tsp – coriander powder
• 1.5 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 4 to 5 tbsp – semolina (rawa)
• sufficient oil for shallow frying
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Clean, wash and cut each pomfret into 3 medium sized pieces.
  2. Evenly rub salt and the powdered masalas on the fish pieces.
  3. Put aside for about 2 hours in the fridge.
  4. Coat each fish piece in semolina and shallow fry on a medium flame till done and crisp.
  5. Serve hot with potato chips.
