Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Chicken
• 8 to 10 – chopped Onions
• 4 to 5 – chopped Green chilli
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 2 – chopped Tomatoes
• 2 tbsp – Ginger paste
• 2 tbsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1 tbsp – Fenugreek powder
• 1 tbsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tbsp – Turmeric
• 2 tbsp – Vinegar
• 2 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• Water to make the gravy
• Oil to cook

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with sugar and set aside for 15-20 mins.
  2. In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, fenugreek powder, onions and saute well.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and saute further.
  4. Mix in the tomatoes, add the turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder and water.
  5. Mix in the marinated chicken and cook till done.
  6. Serve hot.
