Ingredients:
• 200 g – Cottage cheese/paneer, cut into medium sized pieces
• 2 cups – Chopped, Spinach
• 2 – Onions, chopped
• 2 -Tomatoes chopped
• 1 tsp – Coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Cumin powder
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 – Green chillies chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 2 tsp – Chilly powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 2 tbsp – Oil
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the cottage cheese on a low flame until light brown. Keep it aside.
- In the same oil, saute the bay leaves, onions and green chillies until golden.
- Now add the tomatoes, ginger and garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala and fry well.
- Then add the spinach and cottage cheese/paneer and mix well.
- Add a little water and simmer for about 5-6 mins.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or rotis/chapattis.
