Ingredients:

• 200 g – Cottage cheese/paneer, cut into medium sized pieces
• 2 cups – Chopped, Spinach
• 2 – Onions, chopped
• 2 -Tomatoes chopped
• 1 tsp – Coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Cumin powder
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 – Green chillies chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 2 tsp – Chilly powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 2 tbsp – Oil
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cottage cheese on a low flame until light brown. Keep it aside.
  2. In the same oil, saute the bay leaves, onions and green chillies until golden.
  3. Now add the tomatoes, ginger and garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala and fry well.
  4. Then add the spinach and cottage cheese/paneer and mix well.
  5. Add a little water and simmer for about 5-6 mins.
  6. Serve hot with steamed rice or rotis/chapattis.
