Ingredients:

• 1 kg – vanilla ice-cream
• 250 g- strawberries
• 1 tsp- gelatine

Method:

  1. Clean and halve the strawberries. Keep 3-4 whole ones for decoration.
  2. Slice these into fan shapes.
  3. Beat ice-cream in a bowl, placed over a bigger bowl filled with ice water, till soft and creamy.
  4. This is to prevent ice-cream for becoming liquefied.
  5. Add gelatine solution, mix well.
  6. Use a decorative jelly mould.
  7. Pour mixture into moist mould.
  8. Sprinkle half the cut strawberries here and there on to the mixture.
  9. Put in freezer to set well.
  10. Just before serving:
  11. Unmold onto a wide dish.
  12. Arrange the remaining halved strawberries along the rim of the ice-cream.
  13. Decorate top with the sliced strawberries.
  14. Serve instantly.
