
Ingredients:
• 1 kg – vanilla ice-cream
• 250 g- strawberries
• 1 tsp- gelatine
Method:
- Clean and halve the strawberries. Keep 3-4 whole ones for decoration.
- Slice these into fan shapes.
- Beat ice-cream in a bowl, placed over a bigger bowl filled with ice water, till soft and creamy.
- This is to prevent ice-cream for becoming liquefied.
- Add gelatine solution, mix well.
- Use a decorative jelly mould.
- Pour mixture into moist mould.
- Sprinkle half the cut strawberries here and there on to the mixture.
- Put in freezer to set well.
- Just before serving:
- Unmold onto a wide dish.
- Arrange the remaining halved strawberries along the rim of the ice-cream.
- Decorate top with the sliced strawberries.
- Serve instantly.
