
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Maida
• 1.5 cup – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 3 cups – water
• Oil – 1/4 cup
Method:
- Knead maida with water and a little salt to make a soft dough.
- Make small balls out of the dough and keep it aside.
- Roll the dough on a flat surface with a rolling pin.
- With a knife cut diamond shapes and place on a kitchen towel.
- In a pan, heat oil, add diamond shaped thukkadas and fry it until it becomes crisp.
- Make sugar syrup of thick consistency, add cardamom powder to it.
- To this sugar syrup, add the fried thukkadas and mix it well.
