Delicious, easy to make vegetable soup recipe. Tomato Vegetable soup is very yummy in taste and perfect for the starter recipe. Once you eat it you can’t stop yourself eating more.
Ingredients
– 6 chopped tomatoes
– 1 chopped potato
– 1 chopped onion
– 2 black cardamoms
– 1/2″ cinnamon stick
– Salt to taste
– 3/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
– A pinch of red chili powder
– 1/2 cup finely grated carrots
– 1/4 cup shelled peas
– 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
– 1/4 cup finely diced fresh Paneer
– 1 teaspoon lemon juice, optional
How To Make?
1. Pressure cook roughly chopped tomatoes, onion and potato, along with 1 cardamoms, cinnamon stick, salt and 2 cups water to give 3 whistles.
2. After the pressure drops, cool and blend to a smooth puree in a mixer.
3. Strain the puree and add 2 1/2 cups of water to the puree.
4. Add the peas, carrots andamp; cabbage to the puree and boil till the peas are tender.
5. Then, Add Paneer cubes, freshly ground pepper and red chili powder.
6. You can also add lemon juice to the soup if you like it a bit sour. Pepper can also be adjusted to taste.
