Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Rice
• 1/2 cup – moong dal
• Vegetables like carrot, beans and peas
• 1 tsp – Ghee
• 1 inch – Ginger
• 1 pod – Cardamom
• 2 – Cloves
• 1 – small Cinnamon stick
• A pinch of Asafoetida
• Curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp – cumin
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Cook rice along with moong dal, vegetables and salt.
- Heat ghee, add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, pepper powder, cumin, grated ginger and curry leaves.
- Add the seasoning to the rice, mix well and serve.
