Ingredients:
• For vegetable balls:
• 1 cup – Maida + Corn flour
• 3 or 4 – Cloves of garlic, chopped
• 1 inch – Ginger, chopped
• 100 g – Cabbage, grated
• 2 – Carrots, grated
• 1 – Capsicum chopped
• A pinch of soda bicarbonate
• 1/2 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Ajinomoto
• 1 tsp – Soya sauce
• For the sauce: 6 to 7 – Cloves garlic, chopped
• 2 inch – Ginger, grated
• 3-4 green chillies, chopped
• 1 tbsp – Soya sauce
• 1tsp – Ajinomoto
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1 tbsp – Corn flour
• 2 tbsp oil
Method:
- Make a tough dough with all the ingredients listed for Manchurian balls.
- Shape into balls and deep fry in oil.
- Then heat some oil, fry ginger, garlic, and green chillies for 1 min.
- Add 1.5 cups of water, ajinomoto, soya sauce and salt.
- Cook the water for 3 mins. Add balls and corn flour paste. Cook till done.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve immediately.
