
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp – flour (maida)
• 3 – eggs
• 1 – unbaked nine inch pie crust
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 3 oz – unsweetened chocolate
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 1 cup – dark Corn syrup
• 1.5 tsp – vanilla
• 1 3/4 cup – Pecans
• 1/2 tsp – salt
Method:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Melt butter and chocolate together in a double boiler and set aside.
- Meanwhile mix sugar, salt, and flour, in a separate bowl.
- Stir in syrup and eggs.
- Add melted butter and chocolate.
- Add vanilla and pecans and blend all ingredients.
- Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
- You might want to use a quiche pan for serving ease.
- Bake one hour or until firm to the touch.
- Cool and serve.
