Ingredients:

• 200 grams – macaroni
• 2 tsp – Butter
• 1 cup – of any left over cooked Meat (shredded)
• 1 large Onion chopped
• 1 large Tomato chopped
• 1 tsp – pepper
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – grated cheese
• 1 tsp – mixed herb powder

Method:

  1. Cook the macaroni for 6 to 8 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain off the hot water, pass cold water over it then drain and keep aside.
  2. Heat the butter in a pan and saute the onions for a few minutes. Add the tomatoes and fry till soft.
  3. Add the meat, Pepper, salt and mixed herbs and mix well simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the cooked macaroni.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven (355 degrees) for 15 to 20 minutes till the cheese melts and turns slightly brown.
  7. Serve with steamed vegetables or a green salad.
