Ingredients:

• 1 cup – leftover upma
• 1/2 cup – Rice flour
• Salt, if needed
• Oil to deep fry

Method:

  1. Mix together upma and rice flour to make a thick paste.
  2. Add some water, if needed. Adjust salt.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and drop small portions of the prepared batter carefully.
  4. Fry for some time until the pakodas turn golden brown in colour.
  5. Then remove them from the oil and spread on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  6. Repeat the same process with rest of the batter.
  7. Enjoy these pakodas with your favourite chutney.
  8. These are perfect evening snack with tea/coffee.
