
Ingredients:
• 100 g – Plain Flour
• 50 g – Porridge Oats
• 50 g – Butter ( softened)
• 50 g – Crunchy Peanut Butter
• 1 -Egg
• 100 g – Cherries
• 150 g – Brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/4 tsp – Bicarbonate of soda
• 1 tsp – Vanilla extract.
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 190 degree Celsius.
- Grease and line two baking sheets with baking paper.
- Combine the butter and sugar in a large bowl and mix well.
- Now add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
- Now add the sifted flour, porridge oats, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda and mix it.
- Finally add the deseeded cherries. Fold it into the mixture.
- Place a levelled tspful of the mixture in the baking sheet.
- Bake it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Cool slightly, then place it on the wire rack to cool.
- Serve with tea.
