Ingredients:

• 100 g – Plain Flour
• 50 g – Porridge Oats
• 50 g – Butter ( softened)
• 50 g – Crunchy Peanut Butter
• 1 -Egg
• 100 g – Cherries
• 150 g – Brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/4 tsp – Bicarbonate of soda
• 1 tsp – Vanilla extract.

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degree Celsius.
  2. Grease and line two baking sheets with baking paper.
  3. Combine the butter and sugar in a large bowl and mix well.
  4. Now add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Now add the sifted flour, porridge oats, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda and mix it.
  6. Finally add the deseeded cherries. Fold it into the mixture.
  7. Place a levelled tspful of the mixture in the baking sheet.
  8. Bake it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  9. Cool slightly, then place it on the wire rack to cool.
  10. Serve with tea.
