
Ingredients:
• 1.75 cups – Maida
• 1/2 tsp – soda bicarbonate
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 3 tbsp – cocoa
• 1.25 cups – Sugar
• 1 cup – Milk
• 125 g – Butter
• 2 – eggs, beaten
Method:
- Sift the dry ingredients, except sugar, into a bowl.
- Add sugar and milk.
- Melt butter in a microwave for 45 seconds to 1 minute and add to the ingredients. Beat the mixture with a wooden spoon until the ingredients have combined well.
- Add the beaten eggs and beat again until smooth.
- Divide the mixture into two greased 18-cm round microwave containers for 6 minutes on medium and for a minute on high.
- Allow the cake to cool. Cut and serve.
