Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Tuvar dal
• 1/2 cup – each of Channa and moong dal
• 1 small bunch Fenugreek leaves
• 125 g – shelled peas
• 1/2 Coconut
• 1 Carrot
• 1 big bunch Coriander leaves
• 6 green minced chillies
Method:
- Soak the dals for 4 hours and grind a little coarsely after draining out the water.
- Mince together green chillies, fenugreek and coriander leaves.
- Now grate the coconut and carrot finely.
- Half-boil the peas and grind coarsely.
- Mix together vegetables, dals, coconut and onion.
- Heat 1 tbsp. oil and put in mustard seeds and asafoetida. When the seeds stop crackling, put the dal mixture.
- Mix well, add salt and steam them.
