Ingredients:

• 250 ml – Milk
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
• 480 ml – heavy Cream (also sold as heavy whipping Cream)
• 240 ml – evaporated Milk
• 1 – Egg
• For chocolate ice cream:
• 2 to 3 tsp – unsweetened cocoa

Method:

  1. Take 1 egg and 1 cup sugar and mix with a beater.
  2. Once it forms a paste, add milk, heavy cream, evaporated milk and 1 tsp vanilla essence.
  3. Beat the whole mixture for 5-10 mins using a beater. The mixture will now taste like melted vanilla icecream.
  4. Keep the mixture in the refrigerator for a day or overnight.
  5. The following day, beat the mixture again for 5 mins and then follow the directions of your icecream maker.
