Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup – Cabbage
• 1 – Potato
• 1 – Onion
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger paste
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 cup – besan flour
• 1/4 cup – Rice flour
• 3 cups – cooking oil

Method:

  1. Cut the cabbage leaves, onions, potatoes into small pieces.
  2. Mix these vegetables, chilli powder, salt and ginger with besan and rice flours.
  3. Add a little water while mixing.
  4. The mixture should not be too thick or too thin.
  5. Heat oil in the frying pan.
  6. Make small balls and flatten them with your fingers.
  7. Deep fry these pakodas till they are golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with tomato sauce or as a side dish
