Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Quinoa
• 1 cup – Grapefruit juice
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger (grated)
• 3 – Green chillies (slit)
• Few Peanuts
• Curry leaves
• 1/4 tsp – Asafetida powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt
• Oil

Method:

  1. Bring boil three cups of water with salt.
  2. Add the quinoa and cook until they get well cooked.
  3. Drain the excess of water and keep aside.
  4. Heat enough oil. Fry the mustard seeds, urad dal, asafoetida powder, curry leaves, channa dal, green chillies, peanuts, curry leaves and turmeric powder.
  5. Add the grapefruit juice to the pan and cook until the oil gets separates.
  6. Now, add the tempered juice as per need to the cooked quinoa.
  7. Add salt if needed.
