Ingredients:

• grated Coconut – 2 tbsp
• Green chillies 3
• Garlic 6 flakes
• Ginger 2 cm
• oil – 2 tbsp
• Onion – 1 cup, chopped finely
• Capsicum – 1 cup, chopped (discard seeds)
• shelled Green peas – 3 cup
• salt to taste
• Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Grind coconut with green chillies, garlic and ginger to a coarse paste.
  2. Heat oil in a Kadai, add onion. Fry till it is golden brown. Add the ground paste and fry for 1 minute.
  3. Add the capsicums and green peas. Add 1 cup of water. Cover and simmer till the peas are tender.
  4. Add salt. Simmer for 2 more minutes. If there is excess moisture, increase the flame and cook and stir till it is evaporated. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Mix well and remove from fire.
