Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – tender green gram
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1 small tomato, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – coriander, finely chopped
• 1 slice raw mango, finely chopped (on availability)
• or Lemon juice as per taste
• 1 tbsp – fine sev
• 1/2 cup – mixed farsan or puffed Rice (murmure)
• 1 tbsp – Tamarind chutney
• 1/2 tsp – green all purpose chutney
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix together gram, onion, tomato, mango (or lemon), salt.
  2. Add coriander (save some for garnish).
  3. Just before serving, add farsan (or murmure), half sev, chutneys.
  4. Mix well. Serve in individual bowls.
  5. Garnish with remaining coriander and sev.
  6. Serve immediately.
