Ingredients:

• 1 loaf – bread, cut into small pieces
• 3 – medium-sized onions, finely chopped
• 2 – medium-sized tomatoes, finely chopped
• 2 – green chillies, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 1/4 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Dhania
• 1/4 tsp – Jeera powder
• salt to taste
• a pinch of Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
  2. When the seeds splutter, add the cumin seeds and a pinch of turmeric powder.
  3. Add the onions and fry until golden.
  4. Add the green chillies, dhania and jeera powder and fry.
  5. Add the tomatoes and chilli powder and fry just a bit.
  6. Toss the bread pieces in, add salt to taste and mix well.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
