Ingredients:
• 1 cup – rava
• 2 – Onion
• 3 – Tomatoes
• 3 Cloves – Garlic | 3 – Green chillies
• 2 – Cardamom
• 2 – Cloves
• 1 small piece – Cinnamon
• Oil, to fry
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1/2 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Coriander leaves – a few sprigs
• Curry leaves – a few sprigs
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Fry the rava in a pan with a little oil or ghee.
- Make a paste of garlic, green chillies, cardamom, clove, and cinnamon in mixie.
- Heat the oil in a kadai and splutter the mustard.
- Add the cut onion with a pinch of salt and saute in a low flame till it turns golden brown
- Add the tomatoes and saute for some time after increasing the flame
- Add turmeric powder and saute well
- Add the ground masala and saute well till the raw smell of the masala goes.
- Add 2.5 cups of water and boil it
- Add the rawa, mix it well, lower the flame and cook for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves, curry leaves and 1 tbsp ghee.
