Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Milk Powder
• 1 Can (395 g) – Condensed Milk
• A Pinch (Optional) – Saffron
• 2 tbsp + 2 tsp – Butter / Ghee

Method:

  1. Soak the saffron in a tbsp of warm milk for 10 mins.
  2. Combine the condensed milk and milk powder in a pan and mix into a smooth paste without any lumps.
  3. Add butter / ghee to this and cook on a low flame.
  4. Add the saffron milk to this and mix well.
  5. Cook for 7-8 mins until the mixture rolls into a ball.
  6. Now grease your hands with butter / ghee and grease the chapatti rolling stick too.
  7. Grease the base and knead the mass of peda and roll it into a large thick circle.
  8. Now cut circles with a cookie cutter.
