Ingredients:

• 1 cup – moong dal
• 2 tbsp – Urad Dal
• 1/2 cup – Chana dal
• 1 – big onion, minced
• 4 – green chillies, minced
• A few – sliced Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/4 coconut, finely sliced
• A pinch – soda
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Soak the dals separately in water for about 4 hours
  2. Drain out the water and grind finely
  3. Mix the rest of the above ingredients
  4. Form into round balls and deep fry to golden colour
  5. Drain and serve with chutney
