
Ingredients:
• 3-4 – medium-sized onions, chopped
• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 2-3 tsp – sesame seeds, roasted
• salt to taste
• 1-2 – Green chillies
• Red Chilli powder to taste
• 1/4 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• oil to fry
• lukewarm water
Method:
- For the dough: Mix wheat flour, sesame seeds, finely chopped green chillies, garam masala powder, salt and red chilli powder.
- Add lukewarm water and prepare the dough.
- Add 1 tsp of oil and knead the mixture well. Keep the dough aside for 15-20 mins.
- Heat a heavy bottomed tawa.
- Roll the dough to small balls, flatten them using a little ghee, fold again and prepare the parathas.
- Fry the parathas both sides to make them crispy.
- Serve hot with butter, curd and pickles.
