
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – potato.
• 1 cup – onion, finely sliced.
• 1/2 cup – tomato.
• 1/2 cup – boiled peas.
• 1/2 tsp – mustard seeds.
• 4- dry chilli.
• 1 tsp- Turmeric powder.
• A pinch of asafoetida.
• 1 tbsp – oil.
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Boil the potatoes. Peel off the skin and cut into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
- Add dry chilli, and sautee the onions.
- Add the tomatoes, peas, turmeric powder, asafoetida and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add the potatoes and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice. This also goes well with chapattis and puris.
