
Ingredients:
• 2 cup – all-purpose flour (maida)
• 1/2 kg – Potatoes
• 1/2 cup – Wheat flour (atta)
• 2 tsp – dry Methi(Uluva)leaves
• 1/4 tsp – baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper
• 1 tsp – salt
• 2 tbsp – Curd
• Oil for frying
Method:
- Boil the potatoes and keep them aside.
- Mix together maida, wheat flour, baking powder, black pepper, salt, dry methi leaves and curd.
- Grate the boiled potatoes and add it to the above mixture.
- Knead the above into a dough.
- If green methi is not available then you can add yellow methi (ground).
- Make pooris from the above dough.
- Fry them in oil.
- Serve hot.
- Makes 25-30 pooris.
