
Ingredients:
• Batter – 6 cups
• Potatoes – 2
• Onion – 1
• Green chilli – 1
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Salt – to taste
• For Seasoning:
• Mustard – 1 tsp
• Curry leaves
Method:
- Heat oil in kadai. Add mustard to it.
- When it splutters add curry leaves.
- Add chopped onions and sliced chillies.
- Saute well and add mashed potatoes, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.
- Mix well to make a smooth paste so that it makes a good filling.
- Pour a little batter in Idli plate and place the filling in the centre.
- Pour some more batter to cover the filling.
- Steam it and serve with sauce or any side dish of your choice.
