Ingredients:

• 1 cup Butter
• 1/4 cup Almonds
• 1 tbsp powdered Walnuts
• 1 tbsp sugar, ground
• a few Saffron threads

Method:

  1. Soak almonds overnight. Peel and grind to paste with minimal water. Or dry over a napkin for a few hours and dry grind it to a powder.
  2. Bring butter to room temperature.
  3. Crispin the saffron threads over a warm griddle. Crush.
  4. Add almond, walnuts sugar and saffron.
  5. Mix well till it is evenly blended.
  6. Serve chilled with cookies, toasts or waffles.
