Ingredients:
• 1 cup Butter
• 1/4 cup Almonds
• 1 tbsp powdered Walnuts
• 1 tbsp sugar, ground
• a few Saffron threads
Method:
- Soak almonds overnight. Peel and grind to paste with minimal water. Or dry over a napkin for a few hours and dry grind it to a powder.
- Bring butter to room temperature.
- Crispin the saffron threads over a warm griddle. Crush.
- Add almond, walnuts sugar and saffron.
- Mix well till it is evenly blended.
- Serve chilled with cookies, toasts or waffles.
